Syria’s Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) launched an artillery attack on what it described as a pro-Assad militia in Kfar Battikh in Southern Idlib on Thursday (04/05). According to HTS media channels, the attacks killed at least two regime-aligned soldiers.

HTS media affiliate Amjad Media posted a 45 second video of the attack, showing both the launching of the artillery and the impact from what is assumed to be a drone-mounted video camera.

The video, originally uploaded on Telegram, was shared on various platforms by HTS-sympathisers.

In the video, it can be observed that the strikes hit a target in the centre of the town, which after geolocating, appears to be a series of small buildings occupying a single plot in the centre of the town.

The operation was reportedly successful and at least two regime-aligned soldiers were killed and others were injured. HTS claimed that the building was used as a headquarters by a pro-Assad militia.
